Will defaulting my recorder unbind it from Hik-Connect?

Question:

I can't unbind my recorder, can I just default it and bind it to a new account?

Answer:

No, unfortunately defaulting a recorder does not unbind it from the Hik-Connect service. If a device cannot be unbound from Hik-Connect it will need to be added with IP Domain instead.
