When trying to extract the key file for a password reset, my SADP tool tells me "Failed to get thekey. Timed out." What do I do from here?

Sometimes when trying to communicate with a device via the SADP tool, either for configuration or for password resets, the device may be unresponsive and time out. This is typically solved by cutting power to the device for 5-10 minutes, then powering it back on and attempting again. If it is still timing out after that then you will need to directly connect to the device before your next attempt.
