Question:
I have installed the plugin in my internet browser for a Hikvision IP camera, but can't see the live view in the browser. What can i try to get the live view to show up?
Answer:
Try the following:
- Disable all antispyware/antovirus.
- uninstall then reinstall the plugin.
- Make sure if you are using a browser other than internet explorer that the cameras firmware is above 5.5.x. If below this firmware version you will need to use IE.
- Disable the Windows firewall.
- If after installing the plugin for IE (Internet Explorer) and you are not prompted at the bottom to click "Allow". Default the browser in "Tools->Internet Options->Advanced->Reset". Then restart the computer.
