Why is the SADP tool not finding anything on my Mac?

Question:

I have the SADP tool installed on my Mac computer, but it's not showing any devices. I know it's on the same network, so what else could it be?

Answer:

Due to the heightened security on Mac computers you will need to grand the SADP tool Full Disk Access in order for it to be able to see the devices.
